I am someone who loves DIY stuffs. During my own wedding in dec09, I handmade a bunch of stuff, like my veil, guestbook and also my Bridal Bouquet. It’s a Crystal bouquet (which you might learn how to do HERE. Its quite simple) I love DIY stuff not only cause they are cheaper, well most of the time anyways, but cause they are so unique and personalized!!
I would hate to be exactly the same as the bride-next-door.
So imagine my excitement upon arriving at Jacqueline and Gerald’s ROM @ Seletar Country Club, Seletar Tavern. Jacqueline has to be like the most hands-on bride I ever met. The whole place was literally decorated with handmade stuff.. from the Angbao box, to the MemoryLane to the gorgeous CandyBar to the very-fun photo-booth!
The day was beautiful with blue sky, fluffy white clouds and endless rolling green meadow. Coupled with a good crowd, why, it was picture-perfect. No kidding.
A tiny tiny tip to Brides who want perfect sun on her BigDay (well, im not too sure on how well it works, but it certainly seems to be very effective on that day) is to have some Chilli & Onion around. Its like a remedy for Sunny Day! (see picture of it further down this post)
So here’s Jacqueline & Gerald’s Solemnization – Precious Moments.
Enjoy the picture peeps!
YiQing and Edwin’s ROM was on the eve of Chinese New Year itself. Nope its not because they were in a hurry to give out Angbaos (heh) but it was the exact day Edwin proposed to Yiqing 2years ago.. Aww.
Both of them are based in Shanghai and came back specially.. The intimate ceremony was held at the Pool Terrace Pavilion of Marriott and it was beautifully decorated with flower balls handmade by Yiqing. Did I mention her bouquet and corsages were all handmade from real lollipops?!
Their vows were extremely cute and it goes something like this “Instead of i-pad, from today onwards, it would be we-pad.”
So let’s celebrate the union of we-pad. Enjoy the pictures peep!
I first met Roy&Summer around April for a chat about their Engagement shoot.. Followed by a series of emails and brainstorming about how their shoot would be.
We ended up at Borders BookStore and the exact same seat of the cafe, where they had their First-Date years ago.
more photos of part1 here
and also to a Cinema where they spent a lot of time at …
(their movie dates, Summer even kept all the movie tickets.)

= Fast forward =
So on the 10.10.10, this lovely couple finally tied the knot!!
I was so happy for them (really), from strangers to clients to Friends.
They loan me their vintage Pilot Helmets for the Up Shoot, trust my taste totally.. Why, Summer even bought me a Monthly Planner and a Pink Bunny. =D
I nearly tear-ed myself during their Solemnisation (no kidding), cause its like watching your own friends pledging their life to each other. =]
They are currently away on their HoneyMoon but I can’t wait to showcase some of their Perfect10 Wedding (I know Summer cant wait to see neither).
Haha. So here goes some.
(Pss, I am still very new to shooting ROM and ADs, where everything is kidda outta your control. What with kids running and screaming, hectic timelines and running up and down and left and right. But I enjoyed every min of it)
The Heartwarming solemnisation was followed by a quick change of Gown, some TouchUps and finally a Luncheon.
I particularly love the photo below cause it’s really a case of LittleGirl VS LittleBoy!
Like how a LittleGirl would love to dress up prettily and pose for pictures while a LittleBoy would be.. … well “are-we-done”.
Haha. Kiddos.. =D Gonna love them.
Much much love to Roy&Summer for allowing me to be part of your BigDay! =D
